Telegram & Gazette Worcester, MA January 26, 1994 WORCESTER - The city's oldest firefighter, Francis A. Nagle, 96, formerly of 17 Roxbury St., died yesterday in Park Terrace Nursing Home. He was born in Worcester, son of James and Mary (North) Nagle, and lived here all of his life. His wife, Irene F. (McCann) Nagle, died in 1931. He leaves a son, Francis J. Nagle of Norwell; two daughters, Elizabeth I. Bergstrom of Worcester and Margaret A. Doxsee of Anchorage, Alaska; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. The funeral will be Friday from Callahan Brothers Funeral Home, Madison Place, 61 Myrtle St., with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Paul's Cathedral, High Street. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery.
