He was the son of Samuel Dorland Doxsie and his wife Phebe Ann Youngs. Daniel married September 3rd, 1868 at Tuscarawas Co., Ohio, Angeline Peterson, born 1850 Ohio, died 1913. Daniel and Angeline is buried in the Blanchard cemetery at Rolland Twp., Isabella Co., Mi. Angeline married 2nd a Gillespie.
